A sunsoaked cycle out of Basel to the Vitra Museum (if we overlook the heatstroke) — with a particular highlight being the Eames collection.

I went into this vacation exhausted, burned out, and lacking any creative spark — a day wandering the Vitra Museum was the perfect antidote.

With Charles Eames' quote buzzing in the back of my head, I re-found my sense of purpose in my craft. "Design" quite simply is the decisions that are made — the options made available to its indended user. Perhaps we can all make more thoughtful decisions, if we all play the role of 'host' more often.
